Wrong. Why didn't I use pots you might ask? Reason : No point using 100 elixirs for a mere 4300 exp. I can get 10X that amount with just 5 mana elixir in death teddies. Awesome damage though.

Death seems to haunt me everytime I level up. ^_^

So the holidays are here, and with coolie maps rare like ice in Singapore and snow in the Sahara desert, I had to migrate earlier than the 'standard' L80 to somewhere else that would take me. It might not be reflected here, but I had a party going on most of the time. Myself, ling - 92 priest, a friend of mine - 78 hermit, and hermit's gf - 72 priest. Exp was pretty decent, but most imporantly, it was helluva fun.

Let's get it started then.

In my own words, the teddies suffered a devastating 'ice-shattering' attack.

Levelled to 78, change to the new overall and here's some random testing of damage. Time to go exploring! I've still got no balls to go to gatekeeper, so thanatos it is x)

I got bored so I just decided to post some random rubbish as usual. I don't give a damn if anyone takes these 2 pictures as a sign of me flaunting my financial prowess or arrogance on my part or whatever - I just hate inactivity.

My entire fortune here in the bank, waiting to be used in the most practical manner - to me at least.

A picture tells a thousand words they say..

A screenshot which reminds me of my own stupidity. No we didn't die there because of our inefficiency or inability. The story's like that : Bone fishes are 'heal-able', meaning clerics/priests can simply heal them to death from a safe platform - ling's position in this picture. So she thought she was safe healing them from a safe spot, happily ignoring the exploding goby house which were not heal-able, when I had to act pro. I joined her at the safe spot, and started spamming my Ice Strike, which was an AOE skill, and damaged both the bone fish AND the goby house. Result? Goby house dealt out (I forgot exact details) 1.7k damage each to both of us, and ling died since priests don't use guard. I survived thanks to guard. I suicided by touching the goby house twice. I mean, I caused someone to die! I had no right to survive at the expense of some pots while they lose a hefty 8% exp. Hence, the suicide. Me apologize once again for the 8% =(

This' joker 'mission'. Yeah that was her in action against her 'opponent'. That is some pretty neat damage considering I do only 300 more per claw.

Yep there were misses due to level difference, but still I saw her did it. I had no hand in the killing of the cerebes. She completed it herself. I was only there because she didn't know the way so I brought her.

The exp! 2000! Instant 0.08%! I have no idea who the hell this sudden stranger is though. Judging from her equipment she can't be more than 70. But anyway my challenge is done =D

My choices were selected by sseug. I selected those monsters on a certain criteria : They must NOT bear any elemental disadvantage to us. For example, I will not select Death Teddy for sseug, because she's a cleric and Teddies are weak to holy. Likewise, I stopped scywar from selecting bain for me because bains are weak against ice. On paper it looks as if scywar and lasorciere are going to be having the hardest of times due to superior level difference, but it's possible. This challenge was made to be possible, but extremely difficult. Deadline : End of the month. Submission by screenshots to be posted here. If you wanna cheat just for that few hundred thousand mesos I also nothing to say lol. Anyone else who wanna join in for the fun feel free to tag. Be warned though - I'll give you monsters at least 15 levels above your current level ;)

Well I've reached the sacred land. The forbidden city. The holy ground. Level 70. Well I haven't exactly reached it, but I will in 6 hours time. After 2 months of slogging my guts out I'm finally here, on par with my darling Banana ;) 1 70 fire mage and 1 70 ice mage, We really do compliment each other eh? ;)

Anyway.. I won't be training hard anymore till the next holidays which would probably in 4 months, so you can say I'm semi-retiring til then ;) Til then, lemme share my journey thus far :

L1-L36 :

Talk about a noob. I asked the damndest questions and did stupid things, like going afk in a snail infested area and then dying. Thankfully sseug and potter aka scywar were there to help. They spammed me with pots.. with armor.. with weapons.. everything a noob could possibly hoped for! Training would be so much tougher if it weren't for them.

L37-L51 :

I brought sseug to bone fish and sharks. Well fish of all kinds are my friends so they wouldn't harm me, but I can't say the same for sseug. Then came he most defining part in my MS career : Ludi PQ. I abandoned training and focused all my energy into PQ. I worked from L38 to L51 at a superhuman rate and it was somewhere in there I met some great pals : Ling aka lasorciere. What drew me to her was that she didn't mind giving a complete stranger, at that time, Holy Water for free! When I wanted to pay her, she just said 'No need, I'm not so meso face'. Talk about the start of a great friendship ;) In between PQs I tried my luck at getting a esther shield. I thought I was a pro after killing just 5k platoon, although I never did get the esther, but thankfully Ling was there to bring me back down to Earth : '5k is nothing. Wait til you get to higher levels'. My only regret thus far, is that I didn't get to complete a last PQ with them.

L51-L53 :

Time to head back to ossy and kill my younger cousins. I chose red since they were arguably the cutest of the lot ;)

L54-L56 :

Time to graduate to the adults. Red cats all the way <3

L57-L64 :

Finally, my long awaited return to vic. I murdered gollems in the day, and trained at RD at night. Just when I thought I was suffering the biggest injustice in MS because RDs were whacking me for 300 damage, I got humbled again - this time by another buddy, Wind. 'Kitty, Vikings hit me for 1.6k damage. Get used to it and it won't be pain anymore.' Talk about 'The truth always hurts' Besides, my value increased by 11m when I hunted a Steely <3

L65-L67 :

I went back to ossy and worked hard at Cats who gave me pathetic exp, but excellent money. They gave me a seriously bad 5% an hour, but I could make a million in 50%.

L68-current :

Ling advised me to try coolie, and sure I did, even though I was really scared of there, namely of the weather and their poison attacks. However, it was pretty decent exp of 7-8% an hour. The money though was less than half of what I enjoyed in Cats but nvm. I exchanged tooths for mana elixirs, and at 1 point I had 1200 of them! Interesting eh. Oh well I'm not too high level so my journey is short. Time for credits..

Dear all,
After considering for a very long time, I have decided to quit Maple awhile. (jOkies, so sorry to disappoint you, I have read your testimonial and honestly, I'm very touched.) I had an enjoyable time mapling with you guys and thanks so much for all the support you guys have given me. I am sure all of you want to know why I want to quit Maple right? Well, there are 2 main reasons why I want to do that. First, it seems that no matter what I do, download manual patches, uninstall and then reinstalling the whole game, I still cannot go into Maple. The second reason, most of you should know about it since I told some of you guys the last time. And there are a couple of other minor factors or other but those doesn't really matter anyway. Erm... Just take it that I am trying to get social life back on track first before I find some computer expert to help me fix my Maple problem. In the meantime, I hope all of you have a happy time mapling and jia you to level!

Mmm some basic facts : Crimson Balrog has one of the highest all-round attacking ability with 500 wa and 720 ma. Today, feelingcold and I went out in real life. feelingcold is a nice person whom I have known for 5 years. It was great to go out with feelingcold as the last time we went out together was in June. We had a great time at during our trip. The xMahalxKitax family tree which I have drawn up is "huge". We have around 13-14 people in it. Currently, we have jOkies as the "Ah ma/Granny" while the rest of us "g-u-i-l-d!" members are just bros and sis. However, we are in the midst of choosing "mama" and "papa". Those of you who do not know what is going on will find out more about it on Friday at the celebration in the free market. So, I am ending my blog entry for today, cya guys! =)

Cat is a noob! Haha.. Poor jOkieS spent something like.. 1 hour trying to teach Cat how to complete a particular quest in Kerning City. Cat said she failed standing broad jump in school, and I think we should believe her lol. Keep falling down de that Cat =_= I thought cats should have good arial abilities? =P

Anyway, our excellent and lovely and wonderfully blessed Guild has a new member - Kelvin! Poor Kelvin got his L51 account hacked, so he had to create a new one =( Jia You ok! Managed to level up so quickly in 2 days.. Must be thanks to good guidance from his Guild! Let's all take credit wo0hOo~! Haha..

Today Guild not so active as yesterday.. Only Cat, jOkieS and Kelvin were mostly online. ariane, Veldt and sseug dunno fly to where liao XD Anyway, hope that bananaPOP will return asap, because Cat is getting lovesick =P
